Sheikh Hasina Inaugurated The Software Park

Sheikh Hasina Software Technology Park has started its journey in Jessore sector of the country. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally inaugurated this IT park with a video conference from noon. Through this the new era of possibilities in the country's ICT sector was unveiled.

During the inauguration of the campus of Jessore Science and Technology University on December 27, 2010, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced the construction of world-class IT parks in Jessore. Accordingly, the construction of this IT park started on April 25, 2014 at a cost of Tk 305 crores for the area of 2.32 sq ft of Bezpara Shankarpur area in Jessore.

In the function, State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak greeted. At the time, Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Postal, Telecommunication and ICT Ministry, Imran Ahmed was present.

ICT Ministry Secretary Subir Kishore Chowdhury, during the Power Point presentation, highlighted various aspects of the Software Technology Park and the Prime Minister's Principal Secretary Dr. Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury performs the video conferencing.
