The Supreme Court Wants Khaleda's Highest Punishment in the Corruption Case


The prosecution has demanded the highest punishment of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia by presenting 32 witnesses in the Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case. 
Prosecution lawyer Mosharraf Hossain Kajol said that the Special Judge's Court in Dhaka, located in the Parade Ground of the prison department, was lodged in Bakshibazar on Tuesday.
After the appeal of the time on behalf of Khaleda Zia said. Akhtaruzzaman rejected the date of presentation of the arguments on Wednesday, according to the predetermined date. It is known that the case will present arguments on Wednesday and Thursday on Wednesday and Thursday.
Earlier, Khaleda Zia came to the court from Gulshan's residence at around 11am to attend Zia Orphanage and Zia Charitable Trust corruption case. 
In another case filed against Ramna Police Station against Khaleda Zia and Tareq Rahman, including another in 2008, by accusing Zia Orphanage Trust for the embezzlement of money. The other accused in the case are former Kazi Salimul Haque Kamal of Magura, Sharfuddin Ahmed, former secretary of the Prime Minister's Office Kamal Uddin Siddiqui and nephew Mominur Rahman of former President Ziaur Rahman.
On the other hand, on August 8, 2010, the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) filed a case against Tejgaon Police Station against four people, including Khaleda Zia, alleging illegal transfer of money in the name of Zia Charitable Trust. The other accused in the case are Khaleda Zia's former Political Secretary Harish Chowdhury, Harish's then Assistant Private Secretary, BIWTA's Naval Security and Traffic Division acting director Ziaul Islam Munna and former mayor of Dhaka Sadek Hossain Khoka's private secretary Monirul Islam Khan.
