Prime Minister Gave Gifts to Ministers and Secretaries

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has presented the Shitalpati to one of the cabinet members and secretaries in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Shitalpati of Bangladesh.

The Prime Minister's Office on Monday, Sheikh Hasina handed over the traditional Shital Patrol of Sylhet to them. 

After the meeting, Cabinet Division Secretary (coordination and reform) NM Ziaul Alam told reporters in the Secretariat.

In the Cabinet meeting, Health Minister Mohammad Nasim, Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, State Minister for Health Zahid Malek and Acting Secretary of Health Education and Family Welfare Department Fayez Ahmed was present in the meeting, along with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and members of the secretariat

It is to note that December 6th, the 12th session of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Committee on Jeju Island of South Korea has given Sylhet traditional Shitalpata as the World's Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
