21 Months of Murder of Tanu; The Families Demanded The Arrest of The Suspects

The murderers of Comilla Victoria College student killed Sohagi Jahan Tanu were not even identified in 21 months. There is no visible progress in the case long. An angry Tanur family and comedians of Comilla were not identified as the killer. Tanur's family arrested suspected accused and asked for questioning. 

Tanu's family sources said Tanu was not returning home after doing tuition at a house inside Comilla Cantonment in the evening of March 20, 2016. Later, his relatives searched for a body in the cantonment near the cantonment near the house at night. The next day, his father Comilla Cantonment Board's office assistant Yar Hossain filed a murder case against the unidentified accused in the Kotwali Model Police Station. 

CID Comilla has been appointed to investigate the case since April last year after police and DB. The forensic department at Comilla Medical College Hospital, in two-stage autopsy, did not mention the obvious reason for the death. The last reliance was the DNA report. In May last year, the CID told the media about the DNA examination of sample samples taken from Tannur and received three men's sperm from the husband. Later, the CID was not saying anything about whether the suspects were supposed to match the DNA matches. According to the latest suspect, a group of CID has been interrogated in Dhaka Cantonment from October 25 to October 27 this year. The CID said that the person questioned was suspected to be the mother of the mother. But their names were not announced.

Meanwhile, on November 22, at the Dhaka CID office, the officials of Dhaka CID asked Baba Yar Hossain, mother Anwara Begum, cousin sister Laiju and cousin of Minhaj for the old days. 

Khairul Alam Raihan, organizer of Ganajagaran Mancha Comilla, said, "The case of the killing of Tanu has long been in CID. There is no progress in the case. Moving the case to CID means to be kept in the cold storage.

Tanur's mother Anwara Begum said, "The sergeant Zahid and his wife were arrested and interrogated, who will be known to the killer. The body of Tunnur is found in the forest after going to the tuition of their home. He said this to CID in Dhaka. He also said, "I do not know whether the girl will be returned, but the killers of Tanuar want justice. Like a mother, her book is no longer empty. ' 

The investigation officer of the case and Senior Assistant Police Superintendent of CID Comilla Jalal Uddin Ahmed said, "CID is working to identify criminals involved in killing Tanu." Regarding interrogation of Zahid and his wife, the sergeant said, "We are working according to the law ."
