PM Joins one Planet Summit


Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to France on Monday. There he will be participating in the Climate Plan 1 Planet Summit. During this visit, Prime Minister Francois Emmanuel Macron is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting. It is learned that in the meeting with the President of France, he will seek help to solve the Rohingya problem. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will also take part in a public gathering organized by Expatriates. 
Expatriates expect to see their role in the welfare of the expatriates on the tour as well as visiting the Prime Minister after a long time. Bangladeshi long-time demand in France, arrangements for the sending of dead bodies of Bangladeshi expatriates to the country at full public expense. The Prime Minister will be informed about sending the dead bodies of expatriate Bangladeshis to the country at government cost, said a Bangladeshi ambassador to France.
Bangladeshi ambassador to France Kazi Imtiaz Hossain said, "One of the demands of the expatriates of France is to send the body to government cost at Bangladesh. There are arrangements for sending Bangladeshi workers to the country at government expense. This applies to those who have taken the BMET license as a worker. ' The expatriates will raise their demands to the Honorable Prime Minister, he added. The Ambassador hoped that a plan for the long-standing demand of expatriates will be accepted.  
Community leader Mizan Chowdhury Mintu complained, "No government has fulfilled long demand for sending dead bodies of expatriate Bangladeshis to the country at government expense." Therefore, she should appeal to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to apply the application of Bangladeshi expatriates to France. "
On the issue of Rohingya, the ambassador said that the violence against Rohingyas has never happened before. Honorable Prime Minister has set a humanitarian example of providing refuge to Rohingya. He hoped that efforts to solve the Rohingya problem are continuing through bilateral talks. Arrangements will be made to send back Rohingya victims to Myanmar. In order to keep international pressure on Myanmar, our efforts continue to keep the international community informed. A resolution has been adopted in the Union Third Committee. In addition, another resolution has been adopted in the Human Rights Council.
Meanwhile, expatriate businessmen are looking at Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to Paris. Their hope will have a positive impact on the growth of trade and investment through the Prime Minister's visit.
