Prime Minister Jessore Arrives on 31 December



The Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will be coming to Jessore on December 31. 




He will give a speech in the public meeting at Jessore Stadium in the afternoon. Earlier, the Prime Minister will attend the air force ceremony. Soon after the decision was finalized on Thursday night, the district unit general secretary Shahin Chakladder confirmed this to the Golden Ground. 


Whether the announcement of the Jessore Municipality to be upgraded to City Corporation is not yet confirmed during the visit of the Prime Minister. However, on behalf of the district Awami League, various demands will be presented to the Prime Minister; Of which corporation announcement will also be there.

According to the sources, Jessore program was finalized at 8pm on Thursday at Ganobhaban. Jessore District Awami League general secretary Shahin Chakladar said after the departure, there will be a public meeting at Shamsul Huda Stadium on December 31 at 2pm. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be present as the chief guest. Besides, he will be senior leaders of the party along with General Secretary of the party, Labor Minister Obaidul Quader. 

Earlier in the morning, the Prime Minister will attend the air force ceremony at Motiur Base, Jessore. The Prime Minister will be the chief guest at the concluding parade of the air force training program. 
Prior to the last national election, the Prime Minister assured the people of Jessore that they will take steps to upgrade Jessore municipality to the city corporation after coming back to power. That is why the Prime Minister of Jessore is waiting to see what she has come here.

Asked about this, Shaheen Chakladar told the Golden Temple, "The time was short. Because of this, there was no scope to discuss with the Honorable Prime Minister. But we will raise the demands of the Awami League to the Prime Minister. let's see.' 

"The Prime Minister will inaugurate several installations in addition to the Hall of Jessore Medical College, Science and Technology University," said Shaheen Chakladar. 

Earlier, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the 'Sheikh Hasina Software Park' on December 27. The park has been set up at a cost of 250 crores in city's Nazir Shankarpur. Hosne Ara Begum, Managing Director (Secretary) of Bangladesh High-Tech Park Authority, said that the PM will inaugurate the park through the video conference from Ganabhaban at 11pm on that day.
